Website accounts

Keel stores your chosen username, a password hash, a recovery-code hash, account identifier, creation time and session generation. Your password and recovery code are not stored in readable form. The recovery code is shown once; keep your own private copy.

Essential sessions

Signing in sets an essential session cookie. Website and operator sessions are separate. Website sessions expire after 12 hours. The operator sign-in page also offers an optional longer session. Logging out removes the relevant browser cookie.

Requests and operational logs

The server and proxy process request information such as network address, route and time to serve the site and limit abuse. Operator authentication records sign-in attempts. This website does not load advertising trackers, third-party analytics or external fonts.

No exchange details at signup

Website signup does not collect exchange keys, account balances or deposits. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or exchange credentials through a contact channel.

Retention and questions

Website account records remain until removed by the operator. There is no automatic account-deletion interface yet. For account questions or removal requests, contact info@keeltrader.com. Email service is being configured, so delivery and response are not yet assured. Existing invitees can also use their invitation channel.
